Three Angels Publishing was established in 2006 for the purpose of offering the works of Anthony "Tony Baggz" Baggadontz to the public. Initially, a single book, A Bridge to Nowhere: Memories, Morals, and Martinis was offered. Subsequent to the publication of A Bridge to Nowhere, a series of slice of life vignettes called "Tony's Town" was in the process of being written as an attempt to familiarize the reader with the style and content of the novel.
In the interim, however, several other websites using the Three Angels name in various forms were established. They were not and are not related to this Three Angels Publishing.com website in any manner. It was decided however that, to avoid confusion, the name Three Angels Publishing would be amended to Tres Angeli Publishing LLC; the name by which the company is known today. Tres Angeli in latin means "three angels."
As the episodes of Tony's Town were being written, a second book, Fire and Lace, Life's Sacred Journey grew out of several of the episodes. This is the main reason for the long delay in making Tony's Town available. All three offerings are now available on the Tres Angeli website.
A Bridge to Nowhere, Fire and Lace, and Tony's Town are rooted in foundational principles of the Judeo-Christian moral and social ethic. The three concern themselves with the issues of character formation, principles of proper moral conduct, Judeo-Christian ethics concerning sex, dating, romantic relationships, and solid principles for the formation of lifelong, strong relationships, and healthy, holy, and happy marriages. Issues vital to marriage preparation, often called pre-cana counseling can be found woven through the various storylines.
All three offerings, A Bridge to Nowhere, Tony's Town, and Fire and Lace tell the stories of everyday people in situations in which most of us find ourselves in various relationships, be they romantic, social, ethical, or parent/child or teacher/mentor and student. Both fun and inspiration in nature, the topics are familiar to readers, however the style of these offerings takes the form of simple stories; devoid of the the usual pedantic or didactic forms resembling a sermon or a lecture found in much of the literature existing today.
A Bridge to Nowhere tells the story of a reformed playboy bachelor uncle meeting his two favorite twin nephews in the Southside's most popular nightclub before they attend a friend's wedding the next day. The boys, who lost their father when ther were seven, are "Uncle Joey's" sons "he never had" and tonight's meeting is Joey's last chance to impart some hard won wisdom before they step out into the world on their own.
Fire and Lace follow two young adults, Tommy and Aliana, as they navigate the waters of a growing romantic relationship that has the possibility of becoming a lifelong union. It takes place in the firehouse, the taverns, the ball fields, and the churches of their Southside neighborhood in one of America's great cities. Along the way, both you and they encounter friends and acquaintances with names like "Vinnie Bullets," Bobby "Pretzels," "Crazy Pat," Sammy "Bagels," Nick "the human tarantula," and clergymen with nicknames such as "Riff", "Walk off," "Railbird,", "the Professor," just to name a few. Friends who serves a beacons of experience, hope, and inspiration for these two young people to take the right road; "the road less traveled."
And Tony's Town is an ongoing look at everyday life in that same Southside neighborhood in that same big city. It deals with the everyday highs and lows of life and speaks of the wisdom, hope, trust, and the happiness of its denizens.
Please, join us in Tony's Town. There is no cost, all the Southside gang are eager to meet you, and you might find some people there much like the friends and neighbors that populate your life.
